Here's What We Are Looking For:
We are currently looking for Technical Support Specialists in our Pleasant Grove, Utah office. We are looking for people who love technology and helping people. You must have an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude as well as strong communication skills over the phone to assist our clients with their inquires and concerns. We look for technical people who love to help others! You don't need to have formal schooling, although a technical education is a plus.
We provide a casual workplace for our associates, as well as great benefits. We are open to provide support Monday - Saturday, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm MST.
Essential Functions:
Answer telephone calls from customers.
Troubleshoot and resolve the customers' hardware or software issues.
Coordinate merchandise returns.
Document actions taken.
Assist with documentation regarding bugs, new products or new solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers over the phone.
Excellent logic, reasoning and decision making skills.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changing technology.
Ability to work under pressure, in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to focus.
0-3 years of customer support experience in a technical call center environment.
Troubleshooting Windows based operation system (minimum XP )
Home/ business networks (wire and wireless) using multiple network technologies such as switches, routers, printer, etc...
Networking technologies TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls
Internet connectivity using cable, DSL, satellite, dial-up
Consumer/business peripherals - printers, modems
Internet security in areas of virus and spyware

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
